1.1 All rules outlined in the ‘General Rules’ schedule art to be followed.
1.2 Respect is to be displayed to all organising members, participants and spectators.
1.3 All decisions made by the referee are final.
1.4 All decisions made by the organising committee are final.
1.5 Any player received two yellow cards in the same match shall automatically receive a red card, and take no further part in that same match.
1.6 A player receiving a direct red card shall take no further part in that same match.
2.1 A player cannot play for two or more different Church parishes in the same sport in the same competition.
2.2 If a player has been found to play for two or more different Church parishes in the same sport in the same competition the organising committee may take one or more of the following actions:
2.3 The offending player is to be removed immiediately from the match.
2.3.1 The offending player is to be suspended from further participation in that sport for that competition.
2.3.2 The offending player is to be suspended from further participation in that sport for future competition(s).
2.3.3 The offending team is to be suspended from further participation in that sport for that competition.
2.3.4 The offending team is to be suspended from further participation in that sport for future competition(s).
2.3.5 The offending team is disqualified from that match.
2.3.6 One or more of the above actions MUST be taken.
3.1 All organising persons or bodies, including the Coptic Orthodox Church (COC), the COC Diocese of Sydney & affiliated regions and COYA are not responsible or liable for any injuries sustained by any players playing in any sport or event. Players play at their own risk.
4.1 The following points system will apply to all sports and all matches:
- a. Three points shall be awarded for a win
- b. Two points shall be awarded for a draw
- c. One points shall be awarded for a loss
- d. Zero points shall be awarded for a forfeit
4.2 Placing’s after preliminary rounds will determined using the following rules in order of precendence:
- a. Points Awarded
- b. For and Against difference
- c. Goals/Points Scored
- d. Count-back (Winner of the two teams if previously played)
4.3 If the teams cannot be separated using the rules mentioned in Rule 4.2 the following will apply:
- a. Soccer – a penalty shoot-out will determine the team to advance beyond the preliminary round. The Outdoor Soccer Schedule rules for penalty shoot-outs will apply.
