History - Part 2

On Saturday 11 March, 1995, St. Demiana & St. Athanasius Church moved to its second site at : 10-12 Pringle Ave. Bankstown.

Service continued for a number of years at the Bankstown site, until a permanent site was found.

Fr. Hanna Gad was ordained as a priest on January 28th 1995 in Egypt, and returned to Australia on April 11th 1995. On Saturday April 15th 1995 (Palm Sunday Eve), Fr. Hanna Gad was established as parish priest of St. Demiana & St. Athanasius church. Since then, he has continued to guide and serve the growing congregation.
