If you would like an email address in the format yourname@stdemiana.org.au, please fill in the request below
and your email account should be ready within three(3) days.
EMAIL ACCOUNT SET-UP
Once you have received confirmation that your email account is activated, there are two ways you can use your
email account. (Please note that any addresses managed online or emails sent/read, are not updated through
Outlook and vice versa.) Please also note that When adding email address contacts, you must enter a nickname for each person you add to your address book.
Step 1 : Goto :
http://www.stdemiana.org.au:2095/ Step 2 : Enter in your email address (yourname@stdemiana.org.au), and password (Your initial password
is password - which can be changed later.)
Step 3 : Once logged in, you can send/receive emails, update email addresses and manage your account.
Step 1 : Open MS Outlook
Step 2 : Go to ‘Tools’
Step 3 : Go to ‘Email Accounts’
Step 4 : Click on ‘Add a new email account’
Step 5 : Select ‘POP3’ & click on ‘Next’
Step 6 : In the ‘Your Name’ field, enter in your name (or the name of the group e.g : Church Youth)
Step 7 : In the ‘Email Address’, enter in the email address :
yourname@stdemiana.org.au
Step 8 : In the ‘Incoming Mail Server’ field, enter in the following server name : *
pop.stdemiana.org.au
Step 9 : In the ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ field, enter in the following server name : *
pop.stdemiana.org.au
Step 10 : In the ‘Username’ field, enter in the email address given in Step 7.
(In MS Outlook, the email address and the User Login are exactly the same)
Step 11 : In the ‘Password’ field, enter in the following password : password
(This can be changed later)
Step 12 : Click on ‘More Settings’
Step 13 : In the ‘Mail Account’ field, enter in the same name as in Step 6
Step 14 : Click on ‘Test Account Settings’. This will test the account settings, and if correct, will establish the necessary connections and send a test email.
Step 15 : If any errors were found, check that the server name, user name, email address and password were all entered in correctly.
Step 16 : Click on ‘Close’, ‘Next’ and ‘Finish’
* If you receive an error, you must contact your Internet service provider and ask for their Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail server, and enter them where applicable.
